Len Glassman (Owner) 

Len Glassman is a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Nutritionist, with over 20 years of fitness experience. Len also serves as a fitness bootcamp instructor, health advisor, wellness & lifestyle consultant, and motivational speaker. He is the creator of inter-active exercise video and audio DVD's.
Len's passion for fitness and compassionate manner has helped many people of all ages and abilities incorporate and stick to a positive health and wellness lifestyle.
Len specializes in developing goal oriented strength, endurance and flexibility training programs for men, women and teenage children. He trains athletes of all ages and abilities using sports-specific exercise programs for those seeking a competitive edge. He has also worked with individuals experiencing heart problems, sleep apnea, hypertension, neck, back and shoulder problems.

Mirjana Banic
Mirjana is a certified personal trainer and a certified tennis instructor. She lettered all 4-years in varsity Track and Field, was a Big East scorer in the discus and placed 5th in the Penn Relays, College Division and went on to place 7th in the discus at the 2002 ECAC as Team Captain. For several years, Mirjana set her sights on becoming a member of the United States Olympic Bobsled Team. Her team placed third in the U.S. Women's bobsled team trials in Lake Placid, N.Y. She also competed at the Push Off Championships and traveled to Calgary, Canada for training. She has now set her sights on becoming a physical education teacher.
Mike Bukowsky
Mike graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Health & Physical Education. He has been teaching elementary physical education at Washington School in Westfield since 2002. Mike is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and certified personal trainer (NSCA-CPT) and has extensive experience training clients of all ages and abilities.
He specializes in youth conditioning to help kids develop sports-based skills and coordination. He also enjoys working with individuals who are looking to take the next step in the journey to greater fitness and improved lifestyle. His philosophy is training the whole body with supersets and multi-joint movements to keep the heart pumping. Many of our readers have children who are, or are just beginning to reach the age where fitness needs to be a part of their lives. Mike's experience and passion for helping kids of all ages and abilities reach their fitness potential carries over into his training enthusiasm. Children over the age of 10 can greatly benefit from working with Mike. As a Westfield gym teacher, camp counselor and mentor, Mike's training and experience are well suited to help introduce fitness into kids' lives in a positive manner.
Individual and small group youth conditioning training programs are now forming.
Sheri Cognetti
Sheri has been working in the fitness industry for 25 years amidst raising children and caring for her family. She holds numerous certifications in personal training, group exercise, cardio-kickboxing, cycling, arthritis foundation courses and Pilates. She has been studying Pilates for over 10 years and holds a certification in mat and apparatus from the Physicalmind Institute.
Sheri teaches Mat Pilates classes each week at Personal Best and has an extensive Pilates apparatus and personal training client base.

Linda Michalak
Linda is an experienced pilates reformer instructor and certified personal trainer. Linda left the corporate world to raise her two sons and is well into her second career as a fitness professional. An avid runner, Linda has competed in some local 5k races, adding up the miles weekly, until she got up enough "nerve" to train for her first marathon. Now with a couple marathons under her belt, she enjoys helping others challenge themselves both physically and mentally towards better health and well-being.
Wanting to learn and do more, she became a certified Personal Trainer. She then developed an interest in pilates and became a certified Pilates Reformer Trainer. When speaking about Pilates, Linda's passion is evident: "Pilates Reformer Training takes strength and flexibility training to a new level. It teaches us how to exercise correctly and efficiently, and to become mindful of our body and our health". With the recent surge in Pilates training, Linda has found that men can greatly benefit from reformer training when it comes to improving their golf or tennis swing.
Linda also works with clients in her capacity as a certified personal trainer. She thoroughly enjoys helping others and likes training people of all ages and fitness levels.
Frank Fryer
Frank holds two certifications in personal training and has been involved in sports and fitness throughout his life. Frank played high school football, college basketball and competitive flag and touch football. Frank remains an avid skier, softball player, cyclist, youth football coach, and general fitness enthusiast and enjoys teaching and inspiring others
Jim Kompany
Jim is a nationally certified personal Trainer with several years of training experience. Jim began weight training/body building at the age of 18 in order to "challenge myself and to improve my self esteem".
Having worked ked in the finance industry for several years, Jim decided to become a police officer and has been a Roselle Park police officer for the past 6 years. "I began personal training as a way to combine two of my biggest passions in life: working out and helping others." Jim is a very goal oriented person, constantly setting goals for himself (financial, spiritual, educational, relationship, and self improvement). "Training has afforded me the opportunity to better myself both physically and mentally."
Most of Jim's clients are women who wish to improve their appearance and self esteem. "Weight loss and toning are also major points of interest for many of my clients. Building a good rapport and forming lasting relationships with many clients is extremely important to me. I am looking forward to working with anyone who is willing to give me their all. In return, I promise to focus all of my efforts on helping them achieve their goals and dreams."
Daniela Iannone
Dani has worked in the fitness industry for over 8 years. She specializes in weight loss, interval and advanced cardiovascular training and post-rehab/injury prevention. She has worked at Equinox Fitness Clubs in NYC and is also an accomplished dancer and performer. She has worked with a wide array of clients from actresses, to athletes, stay at home Mom’s and Seniors. She competes in Duathlon races across the state and teaches classes and trains throughout NJ and NY.
She enjoys working with clients and believes that everyone is capable of meeting their fitness goals. Her passion for fitness extends directly to her workouts, which are fun as well as functional and will have you enjoying the time you spend in the gym, rather than dreading it.

Karen Megaro
Karen Megaro is a certified personal fitness trainer, pilates mat and senior fitness instructor and certified Zumba dance instructor and resident animal lover. Karen has an in-depth background in group exercise, bootcamp instruction and pilates which compliments her personal training program. Her multi-faceted approach to exercise and wellness streamlines the body while developing muscle definition and improving posture. Her emphasis on cardio conditioning, strengthening abdominal and back muscles and lengthening and strengthening arm and leg muscles lends itself to a lean, well-toned appearance. Karen is a real-life inspiration to women in their middle ages.
Dario Rivera
Dario is a certified personal trainer with several years of training and experience in the fitness field. His optimistic, good natured manner, touches everyone who is fortunate to cross his path. Dario is a firm believer in the power of positive thinking and has helped countless individuals improve their morale and invigorate their lifestyle. Dario has trained several young athletes in such areas as golf fitness and baseball. He is an excellent mentor and role model.
Eric Shendell
Eric is an NASM certified master trainer and golf training specialist. His sports experience includes competitive baseball, basketball, tennis, skiing and golf. His lifelong passion for fitness, which began in childhood, was reinforced during a challenging rehab from a debilitating sports injury in his 30s.
Eric’s focus on lifestyle fitness encompasses awareness, healthy nutrition, training, and enjoying the process of getting fit …and staying fit…for life. His commitment to his clients is evident in his compassionate, motivational and reliable style.
Eric’s decades of professional experience in corporate finance honed his abilities to balance lifestyle fitness with his professional and family life. Today, Eric shares his passion for fitness with athletes, adults and teens who engage in sports and training for competition and overall well being.
